Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the US. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. Her first job was as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actor. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world fame and an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female box-office debut around the globe. Handprints, signatures and footprints were engraved in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw got married to three different people.
