Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine ski champion, who was awarded gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics 2010. Vonn is ranked second in the world for super scores, whether male or female skiers. Her name is most well-known and one of America's best-loved skiers. She is among only six female athletes who has won in each of the five alpine skiing World Cup events. They have won 82 World Cup titles in all.
