Ina Gardner is the author of many popular American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which is on since 2002. Ina started her career creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets to the White House. In the beginning, she found her work to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and opened a food specialty store known as Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success over the course of 18 years until she decided to let it go. Then she began writing the first book. Then, a number of cookbooks were published and she also wrote magazine columns. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too made its debut and became an instant hit. Her range of items spans from appliances for kitchens to ingredient as well as storage containers. Ina never went to any cookery schools nor was she employed in a dining establishment.
