Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
