Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and gained straight As in her A-levels. Coleman regrets not having have a typical university education when discussing the Emmerdale experiences. Coleman performed as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival in a troupe called In Yer Space, which she performed in while at high school. In addition to winning a prize for her acting, the production that she performed was well-received. Coleman received the role as Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. In the British Soap Awards she was nominated as Best Newcomer and at the National Television Awards she was named the The Most Popular Newcomer. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was recognized for categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance categories. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's companion after Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose to put her in the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. She also spoke more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. However she has had a greater presence on television as opposed to films. Eva is best known for her role in the role of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. The character as Doctor. Maria Santos in All My Children garnered its 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This gave her an opportunity to show off her musical talent. Eva is not just acting, but she's as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. She has been married three times, and has one daughter along with her husband.
