Simone
Biles became famous in 2013 - winning the two World Championship golds aged just 16, including the title of all-around champion. She followed that with the four Worlds golds in 2014, and another four in 2015. Rio 2016, her debut Olympics and her first Olympic appearance, was an enormous success. Biles was already a star and was the hot favorite for the gold medal. Biles didn't disappoint. Biles won gold in teams, the vault, the floor as well as the all-around. She also won bronze in the beam. Her power comes from her utter mastery on gymnastic basic principles. Her supremacy is founded upon a deep understanding of gymnastic basics: with an extremely small 4 foot 8 frame, an incredible physical strength and agility as well as a low centre of gravity. She is made to be a top gymnast.
