Durrani made the move into Los Angeles in order to become well known there. Her application was for the position of manager of merchandising at the DASH boutique located in Calabasas, California, and was selected for the position. The store relocated into West Hollywood, California, in 2012. The temporary store situated in Southampton, New York opened for business in 2014. She was featured in the spin-off series "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" when she worked in the Southampton, New York shop. The producers initially thought they would introduce DASH's employees to gauge public reaction on the spinoff. The 'Dash Dolls' television show, which starred Popal along with her fellow employees, was eventually revealed.Durrani Popal, who is often called the Kim Kardashian clone and has been greatly influenced by Kim's style and sees her as an inspirational figure. Khloe has become a role model for Popal, especially how she handled dealing with a sensitive issue regarding her lover Lamar Odom.
